Celebrity business - Follow pop-culture to generate revenue.

Pop-culture is moving as fast as technology.  As a Business Advisor and Business Coach, I see the value of following celebrities from A list to B list, because revenue often comes from ideas.  Those ideas can be inspired by pop-culture.

For example, Margot Robbie was debatably a B list actress for years.  The Barbie movie catapulted her to A status in just a few months.   Her pink fashion hats, and prints had a massive impact on the fashion industry.  A perfect opportunity for big business and small business to create more revenue mid season.

Taylor Swift coming to Toronto will open nearly two weeks of tourism opportunities, merchandise by local brands, and it will be interesting to see the strong collaborations that will develop as a result of her 6 shows.   Bars could host Taylor Swift events and create a "Taylor" drink.  Marketing companies might develop giveaways for to book hotels.  They may even advertise to capture some of the attention of the many 'Swifties' coming into town looking to book hotels.

Paying attention to the what is happening in the news can play a big role in making money in your business.  Stay connected.
